Corrections
If you find an error on ToledoLedger, email news@toledoledger.com. Include the article link, what you believe is wrong, and any supporting information.
What happens next
We review correction requests against the reporting and available records. If the story came from another newsroom, we may contact that publisher and follow its correction.
How corrections appear
When a correction changes an important fact, we update the article and add a dated note explaining the change. Minor spelling, grammar, or formatting fixes may be made without a note when they do not alter the meaning. Retractions remain available with a clear retraction notice unless removal is required for safety or by law.
We do not erase correction history. Do not send confidential material by ordinary email; contact us first to arrange a safer method.
